⑵He ran so quickly that nobody could catch up with him.＝He ran too quickly for anybody to catch up with. 注意简单句too…for sb to do中的动词不定式之后不能再接宾语。
⑶The child was so young that he couldn’t go to school.＝The child was too young to go to school.
＝The child was not old enough to go to school.
