Design of Microwave Broadband Bandpass Filter Based on
40nm Process
Abstract
Due to the frequency resources more and more tight, to get the useful signal, the microwave filter plays a more and more important role in the communication system . AS can seen, the entire network is directly influenced by the performance of the filter. Now microwave filter has been widely applied in both civilian and military communication. The performance of microwave filters must be also more and more high. The bandpass width, suppression of stopband and related loss will be the technical index of communication the main consideration. With the integrated circuit area becoming more tense, volume and cost has been a topic of concern to all designers.
In this paper, the design of millimeter wave broadband bandpass filter with 20GHz-40GHz is mainly based on the platform of ADS . to realize its filtering function ,the resonant circuit is used . Using the ADS platform to build a parallel resonant circuit and electromagnetic simulation ,we find that although it has the filtering function, the stopband attenuation is poor . In this design ,we series a low-pass filter in the parallel resonant intermediate original, the filter stopband rejection and rectangular coefficient increase. the difficulty of the design is that we do not know the originalsubstrate parameters is,so to identify theneeds of the microstrip line , we must get the property of electromagnetic simulation by using the impedance matching
