实验一 LUNs的配置
一、实验目的

是一种把多块独立的硬盘(物理硬盘)按不同的方式组合起来形成一个硬盘组(逻辑硬盘),从而提供比单个硬盘更高的存储性能与数据备份能力的技术。 ? LUN
标识目标中的特定逻辑单元,逻辑单元可以包括多个磁盘。 三、实验内容

1. Using the Storage Allocatation Wizard to assign LUNs
1) click the provision icon under the Storage Management Task bar to launch the
Storage Provision Wizard. Click Next after reading the Wizard dialog. A list of available servers will be displayed.
2) Read the dialog from the “Select Servers” window. Keep the “Assign LUNs to
the servers” radio button selected. Click on the server w3k-240.Click Next. 3) The “Select Storage System” window will display the available arrays.
Highlight the cx1_prod Storage System. Click Next.

4) Read the “warning: Storage provisioning Wizard” windows. Click Yes.
5) Read the dialog from the “Select LUN Type” window. Keep the “Traditional”
radio button selected. Click Next.
6) In the “Select Storage Pool” windows, you can create a new Storage Pool, click
New Storage Pool button, Using the dropdowns, The Create Storage Pool window shown in the next screen and select Apply,in this window, you must create muti-pool ,please change the value of RAID Type and Number of Disks 7) Read the “Confirm: Create Storage Pool” dialog. Click Yes. 8) Return the “Create Storage Pool” window, Click Cancel 9) Return the “Select Storage Pool” window, Highlight the ID 0 Storage pool. Click
Next., The LUN Properties window shown in the next screen, Enter the values shown and select Next
10) In the “select Folder” window, Then Click Next, Finish, Finish.
2. Manually Bind LUNs
1) Create the following RAID Groups (without the Wizard): Right click on the RAID
Group -> Create RAID Group, Use the following parameters for the RAID groups: RAID Group ID: 1 Number of Disks: 6 RAID Type: RAID 6
Check “Automatically Destroy after Last LUN is Unbound” Expansion/Defragmentation Priority: Medium Disk Selection: Automatic

Click Apply, Yes, OK
Right click on the RAID Group 1 > Bind LUN, Use the following properties for the LUN using the dropdowns: LUN ID: 10
Default Owner: SPA Number of LUNs: 4 LUN size: 10GB
Click Apply, Yes, OK, Cancel.
Verify the RAID Group and LUNs have been created.
Right click the Storage Groups icon and create a Storage Group named
“SG_w3k-241”. Click on the Assign Icon under the Storage Management Task Bar. Click Next on the Welcome window. In the “Select Servers” window, check the box for server “w3k-241” and click Next. In the “Select Storage System” window, select the cx1_prod array and click Next.
In the “Select Storage” window, from the “Available LUNs” section expands SPA and check LUNs 10,11,12,13. This moves the LUNs to the “Selected LUNs” section. Click Next, Finish, Finish.
