Nowadays, the rapid development of globalization has had a great implication for China. when we want to pursue all aspects of all-around
development,we can't avoid staying in contact with other countries.So globalization has
become a unstoppable trend. Different people have different point of views.Some people
believe that globalization is a good thing for China,because we enjoy the convenience and
quality life globalization brings, whereas others argue that the developed countries are
the only beneficiaries of globalization，and the developing countries like China suffered a
series of environmental pollution problems in the course of globalization. Globalization is
a double-edged sword.
It is believed that globalization has many advantages for China. For one thing, it is
beneficial to expand exports of our country, for our Chinese business owners can have
opportunities in expanding their companies globally, having more choices when recruiting a
workforce. More importantly, they gain an opportunity to target the customer around the
world.
with globalization we are able to develop friendly business relations with more foreign
countries. it is such an excellent chance that we can introduce capital, sophisticated
technology and managerial experience, which is bound to offer more job opportunities.
Additionally, a global economy would also help in promoting international cooperation and
peace. If countries are dependent upon one another's economic success, economical and
cultural conflicts among countries would be less likely occuring.
Nevertheless, as we know, globalization is a double-edged sword. First, the poor is
becoming poorer and the rich is becoming richer as a result of globalization. Furthermore,
some domestic enterprises have no ability to compete with foreign-invested enterprises and
they may collapse, which will cause the disappearance of some national brands . Last but
not least, some multinational corporations exploit the low-cost resources of our country
and they do harm to the environment.
Therefore, it is high time that the government took measures to handle these problems. In
the first place, the large gap between different areas, professions and employees should be
narrowed. And the authorities ought to make efforts to increase the income of people in the
low and middle brackets. Additionally, the national industrial upgrading must be vigorously
promoted. Of course, those national enterprises should make innovation and it is essential
to achieve success. Finally, the government must reject the firms consuming too many
resources and causing too much damage to the environment.
