The movie introductionBob Harris is an American film actor, far past his prime. He visits Tokyo to appear in commercials, and he meets Charlotte, the young wife of a visiting photographer. Bored and weary, Bob and Charlotte make ideal if improbable traveling companions. Charlotte is looking for "her place in life," and Bob is tolerating a mediocre stateside marriage. the American in Tokyo.

What’s culture shock?
It refers to the conflicts between your views and the host culture that you may have difficulty adjusting to a new culture and to those parts of the culture not familiar to you.
The characteristic of the honeymoon stageIn this stage, you feel excitement about living in a different place, and everything seems to be marvelous. You like everything, and everybody seems to be so nice to you. Also, the fun of life in a new culture seems as though it will have no ending.

Bob was attracted by the Tokyo prosperity while he came to Tokyo. Bob was a little bit excited to the native hospitality , and said, “Very Japanese, I like that! “ He also has made a bow in the movie.

The characteristic of the hostility stageYou begin to notice that not everything is as good as you had originally thought it was. You become tired of many things about the new culture. Moreover, people do not treat you like a guest anymore. Everything that seemed to be so wonderful at first is now awful, and everything makes you feel distressed and tired.

The height of the shower is not enough that make Bob uncomfortable.
